"e. For the 2024-2026 biennium, any school division that had a decline of 15 or more percentage points when subtracting the 2022 free lunch estimated percentage from the identified student percentage (ISP) used in C.9.a. of this item, shall be held harmless for the net loss of the combined at-risk and English language learner funding.”



Explanation

(This amendment provides language for a hold harmless payment for school divisions who experienced declines of 15 or more percentage points when subtracting the 2022 free lunch estimated percentage from the identified student percentage implemented in the 2024 Session. School divisions impacted would receive a hold harmless payment for the combined net loss of at-risk and English language learner funding.)
