Explanation

(This amendment provides funding in fiscal year 2026 to increase Medicaid and children's health insurance program reimbursed dental services by seven percent. Rates for dental services were increased by three percent in fiscal year 2025 and 30 percent in fiscal year 2023. It is the intent that upon enrolling of the bill the amounts needed in Items 287 and 290 shall be allocated as appropriate to reflect the increase in dental rates for the children's health insurance programs, known as FAMIS and Medicaid CHIP.)
