Out of this appropriation, $2,500,000 from the general fund the second year shall be provided to the Department of Medical Assistance Services, in collaboration with the Department for Behavioral Health and Developmental Services to provide training and other support that is needed to prepare providers that will be delivering the redesigned Medicaid community-based behavioral health services that will go into effect on July 1, 2026."



Explanation

(This amendment adds $2.5 million from the general fund in fiscal year 2026 to enable the Department of Medical Assistance Services, in collaboration with the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, to provide training and other support that is needed to prepare providers that will be delivering the redesigned Medicaid community-based behavioral health services that will go into effect on July 1, 2026.)
