Page 111, line 34, after "Virginia", strike the period, and insert:

"; or (ii) offset the costs associated with the implementation of a nonrefundable income tax credit for the purchase and installation of solar energy equipment subject to the enactment of Senate Bill 1496 of the 2019 Session of the General Assembly."



Explanation

(This amendment would allow up to $10.0 million GF the first year to be used to offset the costs of implementing a nonrefundable income tax credit for the purchase and installation of solar energy equipment. Funding would be available subject to the enactment of Senate Bill 1496 which seeks to create a tax credit for this purpose.)
