"the Compensation Board may increase the annual salary in paragraph A of this Item by 9.3 percent following the receipt of the commissioner's certification that the minimum requirements of the Commissioner's Career Development Program have been met, provided that such certifications are submitted by commissioners as part of their annual budget request to the Compensation Board on February 1 of each year."

(This amendment provides $31,250 the second year from the general fund to conform the salary increase percentage provided to qualified participants of the Commissioner's Career Development Plan to that provided under other constitutional officers' career development programs. Note: Based on the Compensation Board's reimbursement cycle, cost in the first year is based on eleven months and includes the cost of salary actions in Item 474, U. and AC. The annualized cost of this amendment would be $33,731.)
