(This amendment adds $2.7 million the first year and $7.8 million the second year from the federal Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) block grant for a summer food assistance program for low-income children. The program will provide an electronic benefit transfer (EBT) benefit of $150 per child for low-income children who participate in the free or reduced price Nationl School Lunch Program during the school year and live in a community with zero or only one Summer Food Service Program site. Funds will be provided for the summer benefit costs and contractual services.)
