(This amendment provides $50,000 the second year from the general fund to account for the fiscal impact of Senate Bill 1049 on the Virginia State Corporation Commission to review the determination of overhead transmission lines. The bill prohibits the construction of a new transmission line overhead unless the State Corporation Commission first determines that the construction of such transmission line in whole or in part underground is not in the public interest.)
