Explanation

(This amendment provides $985,000 from the general fund the second year for state-contracted brain injury providers, which continue to report high attrition and difficulty filling open positions because of non-competitive salaries and benefits. This increase is needed in FY 2026 for workforce retention to ensure quality accessible services for people living with brain injuries. This funding would support current existing state contracted brain injury service providers.)
