Explanation

(This amendment provides funding to implement the provisions of Senate Bill 1102, establishing the Safety First Comprehensive Drug Education Pilot Program. Allocated funds of $50,000 GF annually to go to Halpern-Felsher REACH Lab in the Department of Pediatrics at Stanford Medicine to fund pre- and post-implementation data collection, in-person and online trainings for teachers and staff, and researching intervention language specialized for the Commonwealth of Virginia.)
