Any public middle school may apply for the mathematics innovation school designation."

Explanation

(This amendment provides $5.0 million GF the second year to establish the Middle School Mathematics Innovation Program. If the full funding proposed in the introduced budget for infrastructure, technical training, and evidence-based supports for schools identified as Needs Intensive Support or Off Track is maintained, the cost of the program could be absorbed within that amount. This amendment supports legislation to be introduced in the 2025 Session.)
