"Out of this appropriation, $150,000 the second year from the general fund is provided to the department to effectuate the provisions of House Bill 1620 of the 2025 General Assembly Session."

Explanation

(This amendment provides $150,000 for the Department of Labor and Industry to convene a workgroup to examine the prevalence of workplace violence in the Commonwealth, required by House Bill 1620 of the 2025 General Assembly Session. This is a placeholder amendment until a final fiscal impact statement is produced.)
