Explanation
(This amendment provides $42,500 each year from the general fund to be apportioned by the Rules Committee of the House of Delegates by September 1, 1998, to legislative commissions and legislative agency budgets, to support increased per diem payments to House members for meetings conducted during the interim. In addition, the amendment makes a technical correction to language included in this item in the introduced budget.)
