Explanation
(This amendment provides $850,000 the first year and $568,574 the second year from nongeneral funds to provide educational programs at the Sussex II Correctional Center, opening in October, 1998. This facility is expected to house contract inmates, and the revenues received for housing these inmates will support this appropriation. A companion amendment to §4-2.01 of this Act establishes a Contract Prisoner Special Revenue Fund for this purpose.)
