Explanation
(This amendment provides funds for a 2.25 percent rate increase for foster parents, effective December 1, 1998. A technical adjustment in the introduced budget is also made in this amendment, to reflect the correct allocation of the 1997 rate increase among the state pool and supplemental fund portions of the Comprehensive Services Act. A companion budget amendment in Item 400 provides the same increase to foster parents reimbursed by the Department of Social Services.)
