Explanation
(This amendment substitutes Medicaid revenue for a portion of general fund appropriations for services provided to at-risk youth under the Comprehensive Services Act (CSA). Additional collections of Medicaid for in-patient and out-patient services are projected, based on recommendations of the Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission. Therapeutic foster care would also become eligible for Medicaid reimbursement, as authorized in a companion amendment in Item 335.)
