A. The amounts for Central Warehousing Services shall be paid solely from revenues derived from charges for services. The estimated cost is $45,210,178 the first year and $45,210,178 the second year.
B. The Department of General Services shall issue a "Request for Proposal" to consider alternative delivery systems for services currently provided by the Central Distribution Warehouse. No expenditures shall be made for the construction of a new Central Distribution Warehouse until such time as the Department reviews and reports to the Governor, the Commonwealth Competition Council, and the Chairmen of the House Appropriations and Senate Finance Committees its findings on 1) the study of distribution services prepared by the COMPETE Center of the College of William and Mary, and 2) any proposals received in response to the "Request for Proposal."
