"The amounts for Probation and Parole Services Local Grants and Contracts include $100,000 each year from the general fund to establish juvenile drug courts in selected judicial districts.  Such funds shall be provided as matching grant funds and shall be limited to those districts which have received a federal grant for planning a drug court program and which have applied for federal grants to implement such programs.  It is the intent of the General Assembly that funds and services for such courts be provided through local juvenile court services units of the Department of Juvenile Justice.  The Department shall consult with the judges of the Richmond Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court and the City of Richmond to insure that such services are provided in a manner consistent with the continuum of juvenile justice services established in Item 494 of this act."
