Explanation
(This amendment provides $1,500,000 the first year and $918,574 the second year from nongeneral funds and 19.0 FTE positions each year to provide educational programs at the Sussex II State Prison and the Wallens Ridge State Prison. These facilities are expected to house contract inmates, so the revenues received for housing these inmates will support this appropriation. A companion amendment to § 4-2.01 of this act establishes a Contract Prisoners Special Revenue Fund for this purpose.)
