Authority: § 38.2-401, Code of Virginia.
A. Notwithstanding the distribution formula in § 38.2-401, Code of Virginia, all interest earned from the Fire Programs Fund shall be distributed to localities.
B. From existing balances, $350,000 shall be maintained as the Fire Programs Emergency Fund pursuant to Item 444 of Chapter 924, 1997 Acts of Assembly.
