Out of the amount in State Children's Health Insurance Services, $1,152,613 from the general fund and $847,387 from nongeneral funds the first year and $3,000,000 from the general fund the second year are appropriated to support the eligibility functions for the new State Children's Health Insurance Program. The department shall work with the Department of Medical Assistance Services to establish an eligibility determination office in Norton, Virginia. Such office shall be operational by July 1, 1998.
