Page 199, line 27, strike "$638,518" and insert "$538,518".
Page 199, after line 30, insert:
"Out of this appropriation, $100,000 in the first year from the general fund shall be used to provide training for internal auditors.  Any funds unexpended for this purpose on June 30, 1998, shall not revert to the general fund but shall be reappropriated for the same use in the succeeding year."

Explanation
(This amendment would remove the funding proposed for training contracts in the introduced budget in the second year. Language would allow any unexpended funds from the first year appropriation to be used for the same purpose in the second year.)
