Explanation
(This amendment provides $150,000 each year from nongeneral funds and three (3.0 FTE) positions for training, technical assistance and clinical supervision of local Alcohol Safety Action Programs in the assessment, treatment and supervision of misdemeanant offenders convicted of drug law violations in the General District Courts. The fund source for this amendment is special funds from fees collected through the existing VASAP program. This amendment implements House Bill 664 and Senate Bill 317, which have been adopted by the General Assembly.)
