Explanation
(This amendment reduces funding for salary adjustments because of the decision not to make employer group life insurance contributions during the 1998-2000 biennium for state employees. Because of prudent policies and increased investment yields, the group life insurance program has sufficient balances to cover prospective liabilities.)
