Page 247, delete lines 41 through 50 and insert:
"The Department shall work collaboratively with the Department of Medical Assistance Services to support the eligibility determination and outreach functions needed to enroll children eligible for but not enrolled in Medicaid, and to implement the new State Children's Health Insurance Program."

Explanation
(This amendment is a companion to an amendment to Item 338 which substitutes Medicaid expansion for private insurance coverage for poor children. This amendment requires cooperation in administering the program between the Departments of Social Services and Medical Assistance Services and deletes language that would establish a new eligibility determination office in Norton, Virginia.)
