Explanation
(This amendment provides increased funding for community-based residential services for persons with serious mental illness who are currently on waiting lists to receive needed services. This amendment is a recommendation of the House Joint Resolution 240 (1996) Joint Subcommittee to Evaluate the Future Delivery of Publicly Funded Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services.)
