A. Out of this appropriation, $80,880 the first year and $80,880 the second year from the general fund is designated for the second and third of five annual payments for the lease purchase of computing and instructional equipment totaling approximately $350,000.
B. Out of this appropriation, $20,000 the first year from the general fund is provided for the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center to conduct a feasibility study of employment/training opportunities in Buchanan County, including but not limited to, establishing a Veterinarian Technology Training Center, which could be combined with a regional animal shelter, in Buchanan County. The Center shall provide its findings to the Chairmen of the Senate Finance Committee and the House Appropriations Committee by December 15, 1998.
