The Department of Corrections Academy for Staff Development, in cooperation with the Department of Criminal Justice Services and the Virginia Community College System, shall assess the feasibility of providing training for corrections professionals through satellite and other remote technology linkages with community colleges. A report on this study shall be presented to the Governor and the Chairmen of the Senate Finance and House Appropriations Committees by October 1, 1996.
