Explanation
(This amendment adds $2.0 million GF each year to restore funding for 19 beds at Northern Virginia Mental Health Institute (NVMHI) that was eliminated in FY 2010 as a result of budget reductions. Budget language is added requiring the Director of NVMHI to provide services to those with serious mental illness in northern Virginia in the most cost-effective and least restrictive settings in collaboration with local community services boards.)
