Explanation
(This amendment provides funding in each year to partially restore payment reductions to hospitals and nursing homes contained in the introduced budget. It provides limited inflationary adjustments to hospital and nursing home payments to preserve access to essential health services by maintaining current Medicaid payment adequacy for hospital and long term care services and ensuring that the gap between Medicaid payments and costs of delivery do not worsen.)
