Explanation
(This amendment provides $150,000 from the deed recordation fees dedicated to the Virginia Natural Resources Commitment Fund for the development of an automated nutrient management program for use by Virginia's farming community. This program will link soils data, farmer crop rotations, and farm soils information so that individual farmers and farm managers can develop their own nutrient management plans rather than pay private sector nutrient management plan writers for those plans or wait for assistance from either soil and water conservation district staff or other public sector nutrient plan writers.)
