"Out of this appropriation, $50,000 the first year and $50,000 the second year from the general fund shall be provided to initiate pilot project(s) related to human trafficking prevention and victim support.  By July 1, 2014, the Department of Social Services shall report to the Governor and Chairmen of the House Appropriations and Senate Finance Committees on the pilot projects awarded with this funding and the associated outcomes."

Explanation
(This amendment provides funding to initiate pilot projects related to human trafficking prevention and victim support. The funding will be administered by the existing human trafficking workgroup in the Department of Social Services (created by House Bill 2190, 2011 General Assembly) and used to foster projects that serve to weaken the demand for human trafficking and provide assistance to its victims.)
