Explanation
(This amendment restores $600,000 from the general fund each year for community-based brain injury services that was cut from the introduced budget. Funding will be used to develop the service delivery infrastructure, develop the workforce, and enhance community-based brain injury services including adult and pediatric case management, clubhouses/day programs and regional resource coordination. Funding will help to streamline and modernize case management data collection and conduct brain injury surveillance, outreach, and provide technical assistance statewide. Funding for brain injury services was reduced by $233,316 each year in the introduced budget.)
