Explanation
(This amendment provides $0.7 million the first year and $0.7 million the second year from the general fund to fully restore funding for the additional supplement for the Cost of Competing Adjustment (COCA) for Culpeper, Facquier, and Warren school divisions. These are estimated costs based on House Bill 30 and, if adopted, will be updated to reflect the possible financial impact of other amendment actions in Direct Aid that are included in the adopted budget.)
