Explanation
(This amendment provides $32.1 million the first year and $32.1 million the second year from the general fund to provide grant allocations for the support of SOL on-line testing. Additional technology support personnel will be required to successfully expand on-line testing to all elementary schools and to continue successful on-line testing at the middle and high schools. Estimated statewide costs total $32.1 million each year for staffing needs.)
