Explanation
(This amendment reflects various proposed changes in general fund resources on page one of the budget bill. These changes include an increase in revenue of $1.3 million in fiscal year 2013 resulting from a revision in the estimated proceeds from the sale of the Old Tax Building, an increase in revenue of $7.0 million in fiscal year 2013 resulting from the movement of the earned income tax credit to fiscal year 2012, a reduction in revenue of $25,415 in each year resulting from allowing the Parking Fund in the Department of General Services to retain interest earned, a reduction in revenue of $250,000 in fiscal year 2014 resulting in the proposed increase in the wine tax credit, an increase in revenue of $5.0 million in fiscal year 2014 resulting from the resetting of the research and development tax credit to the amounts provided for in statute, and a $20.7 million increase in the year end balance for fiscal year 2012 resulting from various proposed amendments for House Bill/Senate Bill 29.)
