Authority: Discretionary Inclusion
To accomplish savings estimated at $57,236,460 the second year, the Department of Planning and Budget is hereby authorized to reduce the general fund appropriation for operating expenses of each agency in the Executive Department, as contained in Part 1 of this act; by a maximum of two percent (2%) the second year. In the case of agencies with 25 or fewer employees, the savings may be different than the cited percentage for an individual agency, provided that the combined savings for all agencies shall be equal to the cited percentage. The savings resulting from such withheld appropriations shall be transferred to this Item.
