Explanation
(This amendment would eliminate funding for the Virginia Educational Technology Alliance for technology training for adult education teachers, and would reduce the pool for adult literacy grants by one-half. This is one of a series of amendments that redirects funding from discretionary grant programs to the Standards of Quality to address funding deficiencies cited in the Tier 1 recommendations of the Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission report, Review of Elementary and Secondary School Funding.)
