A. Operational costs for this program shall be paid solely from charges to agency programs.
B. Out of the amounts for this Item, shall be paid the annual salary of the chairman, $227,935 from July 1, 2026 to July 24, 2026, $235,913 from July 25, 2026 to June 9, 2027 and $244,170 from June 10, 2027 to June 30, 2028. The other two Commissioners of the State Corporation Commission shall be paid $225,439 from July 1, 2026 to July 24, 2026, $233,329 from July 25, 2026 to June 9, 2027 and $241,496 from June 10, 2027 to June 30, 2028.

C. Notwithstanding the provisions of § 13.1-775.1, Code of Virginia, the State Corporation Commission shall continue the following annual registration fees for domestic and foreign corporations. The new annual rates shall be $100 for every foreign and domestic corporation authorized to do business in the Commonwealth whose number of authorized shares is 5,000 shares or less. Any such corporation whose number of authorized shares is more than 5,000 shall pay an annual registration fee of $100 plus $30 for each 5,000 shares or fraction thereof in excess of 5,000 up to a maximum of $1,700. The commission shall deposit these funds into a special fund and transfer three-fourths of the receipts to the general fund semiannually.
D. The State Corporation Commission, with the assistance of the Department of Environmental Quality, and all other agencies of the Commonwealth, any political subdivision, or any applicable utility shall provide assistance as requested, shall collect the following and report the information in an aggregated format to the Chairs of the Senate Finance and Appropriations and House Appropriations Committees by October 1, 2026, and each year thereafter: (i) all electric service agreements or equivalent contracted demand with data centers, including their electric load, from all electric utility providers; (ii) all data center water usage information from municipal or private water providers; and (iii) permitting information on data center generators and tier of each generator.
