A. The Department of Accounts is authorized to disburse, as fiscal agent for the Commonwealth Health Research Board, funds received from the Virginia Retirement System pursuant to § 32.1-162.28, Code of Virginia.
B. On or before August 1, 2026, the Director, Department of Planning and Budget, shall transfer balances from fund 09006 in Agency 162 to fund 09006 in Agency 236. Transferred amounts shall be utilized to support the Florence Neal Cooper Smith Sickle Cell Research Endowed Chair.
