A. The Department of Transportation shall reimburse the Department of Motor Vehicles for the operating costs of the Fuels Tax Evasion Program.
B. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Department of Motor Vehicles is authorized to retain the income generated by the rental of space in agency-owned facilities. The Department shall not exceed the state rental rate in Item 71 for the rental of space in agency-owned facilities to other state agencies.
