A. Notwithstanding the provisions of § 38.2-401, Code of Virginia, up to 25 percent of the revenue available from the Fire Programs Fund, after making the distributions set out in § 38.2-401 D, Code of Virginia, may be used by the Department of Fire Programs to (i) pay for the administrative costs of all activities assigned to it by law and (ii) supplement the personnel costs of the State Fire Marshal's Office.
B. Included in the amounts appropriated for this item is $123,100 the first year and $123,100 the second year from the Fire Programs Fund to implement a modular training program for volunteer firefighters in accordance with Chapter 403, 2018 Acts of Assembly.
