The Department of Medical Assistance Services shall seek any necessary federal approvals to allow indigent care funding, available to the University of Virginia Health Systems and Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems, to be used to assist any person who can demonstrate total gross annual household income at or below 300 percent of the Federal Poverty Level and who are uninsured."

(This amendment allows indigent care funding available to the University of Virginia Health Systems and Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems to be used to assist any person who can demonstrate total gross annual household income at or below 300 percent of the Federal Poverty Level and who are uninsured. Such financial assistance must be made available to cover any medical services provided.)
