"QQQQQ. Effective July 1, 2026, the Department of Medical Assistance Services shall amend the State Plan for Medical Assistance under Title XIX of the Social Security Act to eliminate the seven-year bar for Lawful Permanent Residents who otherwise meet all Medicaid eligibility requirements. The Department shall have authority to promulgate all emergency regulations to implement this amendment within 280 days or less of the enactment of this Act."
