Explanation

(This amendment provides $100,000 GF each year for a pilot program to award students enrolled in pre-veterinary medicine programs at Virginia private institutions a Tuition Award Grant supplement. The amendment is based on the House Joint Resolution 43 (2024 General Assembly Session) study, which made recommendations for addressing the shortage of large animal veterinarians.)
