Explanation

(This amendment provides an additional $245.8 million GF the first year and $435.2 million GF the second year above the introduced budget to expand access for eligible families by providing more quality child care slots for birth to five children in the Child Care Subsidy Program (CCSP). Language specifies that CCSP and Mixed Delivery costs per child should be biennially rebenchmarked based on the federally-approved cost of quality methodology. This is an estimate and the actual fiscal impact is to be determined.)
