"EEE. Out of this appropriation, $250,000 the first year and $250,000 the second year from the general fund is provided to support Artificial Intelligence pilot programs. The Department shall administer the program and develop guidelines. Funding may be used to support the adoption of artificial intelligence software, programs and training."



Explanation

(This amendment provides $250,000 GF each year to support Artificial Intelligence pilot programs. Language requires the Department of Education to administer the program and establish guidelines and specifies that funds may be used to support the adoption of artificial intelligence software, programs and training. This amendment supports the fiscal impact of Senate Bill 394.)
