Explanation

(This amendment reduces general fund revenue by $50,000 the first year and $50,000 the second year as a placeholder for the revenue impact to deposit civil penalties for underage sales of retail tobacco products and hemp products intended for smoking in the applicable local treasury, pursuant to Senate Bill 142. Under current law, the penalties are deposited in the state treasury. The actual revenue impact is to be determined.)
