Explanation

(This amendment provides $100,000 general fund in each year of the biennium pursuant to the passage of House Bill 659 which requires the Department of Human Resource Management to given retired employees who elected to not stay in the state employee health plan at retirement one additional opportunity to elect to participate in the state health plan, provided that such election occurs within five years after such employee's date of retirement. The funding included in this amendment is a placeholder until a detailed fiscal analysis of House Bill 659 is completed.)
