Explanation

(This amendment provides $123,000 from the nongeneral fund in fiscal year 2027 to reflect the administrative cost to implement the provisions of House Bill 1269 of the 2026 General Assembly Session which includes emergency dispatchers within state agencies in the Virginia Law Officers' Retirement System. There is a companion amendment under item 469 to reflect the cost of the enhanced benefits authorized in House Bill 1269. The funding included in this amendment is a placeholder until a detailed estimate of House Bill 1269 is finalized.)
