Explanation

(This amendment provides $188,000 from the nongeneral fund in fiscal year 2027 to reflect the administrative cost to implement the provisions of House Bill 750 of the 2026 General Assembly Session which adds local E-911 dispatchers to the list of local employees eligible to receive enhanced retirement benefits. The localities would have the option of electing to make the enhanced benefit retroactive or just prospective. The funding included in this amendment is a placeholder until a detailed estimate of House Bill 750 is finalized.)
